Ped Panchayat is a non governmental, non profit making and voluntary process for protection of plants and trees. A Green initiative is one which deals with trees, plants, herbs, different types of vines, grasses and shrubs and related issues like biodiversity, wetlands and wetlands related plant species, organic farming, cropping pattern, cash crops including cultivation of medicinal plants and different types of research and action work in related fields. It also involves sprouting the seeds, nurturing them, planting them and taking care thereof along with distributing them and imparting the particular knowledge to all interested ones viz. individuals, corporates, government or non government bodies. Not only this but we disseminate greenery related knowledge to people of all professions and households. This knowledge includes preparing saplings of different species of plants, trees, shrubs, vines and grasses, planting them, nurturing them by feeding and watering, protecting them and ensuring their full growth. After their full-grown the knowledge of their uses for welfare of society is disseminated to the extent as far as possible. This Green Initiative inspires newcomers and children also to generate their interests in greenery and to tell them the need to create greenery. The people who are interested in above stated job are welcome to join this Institution as a Volunteer.
